Event Description:
The Waterville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 52nd Annual Roche de Boeuf Festival on Saturday, September 27th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Downtown Waterville. The festival features a variety of activities for all ages and free entertainment throughout the day. Waterville’s downtown streets will be filled with over 200 crafters, food vendors, and area artists, as well as booths staffed by area businesses and non-profit organizations.

This year's event will feature:
  • A huge children's area down at the new Parker's Square. Activities will include bounce houses, a face painter, the Metroparks Toledo Rock Climbing Wall, characters, a DJ, and entertainment.
Entertainment schedule in this area:​​ 12-12:45pm Melissa's Dance Academy
                                                           1-1:45pm the Bluegrass Band
                                                           2pm-2:45pm The Sophisticates
                                                           3pm-5pm Jackson Price (Michael Jackson)

 
  • The Annual Roche de Boeuf Car Show located at and sponsored by Shawn's Irish Tavern from 9am-2pm. Cruisin' Zeake will be providing music and lots of prizes will be given out to registered car owners. 
  • Tours at The Waterville Historical Museum along River Road.
  • Horse & trolley rides on River Road
  • The Roche De Boeuf Parade sponsored by our friends at Strayer Concrete featuring radio personality Andrew Z as our parade emcee. The parade has become the most popular part of our festival and begins at 10am and travels through the downtown area. A parade map will be posted on our website prior to the event. Be sure to come early to get the perfect spot for viewing. 
  • A stage with live bands will be located in the middle of North third Street. "Dusty Syns" will play from noon-3pm and the band "Hit & Run" whose members are current/former Anthony Wayne High School students will play from 3:30pm-5pm.
  • Free shuttle service provided by Browning Masonic. Drop off/pick up locations will be Something Special Learning Center located at 8251 Waterville Swanton Rd and BluSky Restorations located at 1300 Michigan Avenue. Shuttle service will be interrupted from 10am to approximately 11:15am due to road closures for the parade.

Parade begins at 10 a.m.

A free shuttle service provided by The Browning Masonic will be available from 8am - 5pm, with a break from 10am until approximately 11:15 when parade has ended due to the closure of the Anthony Wayne Trail. Shuttle pick-up / drop-off locations will be BluSky Restorations located at 1300 Michigan Ave in Waterville, Something Special Learning Center located at 8251 Waterville Swanton Rd in Waterville and the currently closed old gas station located at 300 Farnsworth Road.

VENDOR, PARADE, AND EARLY REGISTRATION FOR THE CAR SHOW HAS ENDED FOR THIS EVENT
YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE IN THE CAR SHOW BY REGISTERING THE DAY OF THE EVENT. THE FEE IS $10, CASH ONLY.
